Jay Stuff

Jay is the President and owner of NorthCoast as well as a detail-oriented Producer. He’s a Wausau native, coming to NorthCoast Productions following 14 years in Los Angeles where he produced and directed several independent films in addition to working for Walt Disney Studios. His most recent feature films, "Sliding Home” and “Project Solitude” are currently airing across the globe. Jay wrote, produced, and starred in the film “Sliding Home” which won the gold medal (best drama) at the Houston Film Festival. Jay has also directed many projects including "The Drowning Plains", winner of the 2001 Dorski Award for excellence in filmmaking. While at Disney, Jay wrote all the synopses included in the press kits and in-theatre-marketing guides for all Disney, Touchstone, and Hollywood Pictures' films. Jay received his undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and is currently pursuing his MBA.

Michelle Stuff

Michelle has been with NorthCoast for four years. Michelle has produced projects for clients such as Kimberly Clark, Miller Electric, Associated Bank, Gundersen Hospital and Bellin Health. She is an accomplished professional in developing strategies and campaigns for print, radio, video, television, collateral materials and event marketing in a timely and cost effective manner. Her career has included a wide range of cross-functional roles, not only in the realm of marketing, but also in the areas of sales and business development. The cornerstone of Michelle’s success has been the intrinsic understanding of the clients’ needs and her ability to translate those needs into superior campaigns.

Tom Stuff

Tom has 24 years of experience in the business. Prior to moving to Green Bay, Tom worked for a video production company in the La Crosse, WI area where he traveled the world putting on video shows. Tom moved to Green Bay to work as a Director/Producer for Pulse Communications in 2006 and assumed that same role at NorthCoast. Tom is extremely detailed and professional and has a proven track record of juggling the creative necessities of projects with the reality of budgets and time.

Steve Stuff

Steve has demonstrated his creative talent for far longer than he is willing to admit. He loves the creative process and the personal interaction that takes it to the next level. Steve believes that having fun and creating a superior product go hand-­in-hand. He often exclaims, “I actually get paid for doing this”! He is careful, however, to not say that in front of those who actually pay him. He has literally made thousands of commercials, programs and videos, yet he still gets stoked to make new things and meet new people. Steve is one of the lucky few that has found his true calling.

Mark Stuff

Mark came all the way from England to work at NorthCoast. His British spirit is often enjoyed around the office. As a jack-of-all-trades, his talents range from producing, to editing, all the way to IT. He’s produced an award-winning project for Bellin Health as well worked on projects for Badger Transport, JJ Keller and Gundersen Lutheran Health System.

John Stuff

John has been working “behind the lens” for over 25 years. In that time he has shot news, documentary, sports, scuba, corporate, commercials, and even a feature length movie. John, and his camera, have traveled throughout the US and abroad capturing images for a wide range of clients such as Shopko, Ariens, Gillette, National Geographic TV, Bahamas Tourism Board, and Kohler to name some names! Some of those videos have even won a handful of awards (which John primarily uses as bookends).

Mac Stuff

John (Mac) is another one of NorthCoast Production’s creative camera operators. He has shot film and video of just about everything from local and national news, as well as footage for networks including ABC,NBC, CNN, ESPN, The History Channel, Discovery Channel and many more. From hanging out of a helicopter over Yellowstone National Park to the intricate set up for a U2 concert, Mac is ready for anything. Among some of his awards include the prestigious Jules Bergman Award for a transplant series.

DJ Stuff

DJ is the newest member of NorthCoast’s team of cinematographers. DJ majored in Radio, Television and Film and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Having shot on everything from 16mm film to Red and just about everything in between, DJ is passionate about his craft and it shows in everything he does. DJ is also a talented photographer and has worked on photo and/or video projects for Nike, Ford, Sports Illustrated, Dancing with the Stars, NFL Network, The Travel Channel, Velocity, and Speed Network.

Stasia Stuff

Stasia is a graduate of Hope College with over 15 years of experience as an editor, producer, and director. She began her career in the public relations department for Dow Chemical. Over the past 10 years she has worked in Chicago, Las Vegas and here in Green Bay. She has directed several live multi camera television programs, as well as served as technical director for events, concerts, and conventions. She loves when she sees a video piece she has had a hand in inspire, emotionally touch, and positively impact someone’s life.

Andrew Stuff

Andrew has been creating artistic magic for over 15 years. Andrew graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a degree in graphic design and fine arts. An award winning artist, Andrew is extremely talented. His eclectic body of work ranges from 2D/3D animation, special effects, cinematography, editing and post production to illustration, sculpture and painting.

Ashley Stuff

Ashley came highly recommended to us after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay… and rightly so. Ashley’s degree in Design Arts as well as her drive to succeed, gives her impressive skills in print and video animation. Her eye for composition and color brings visual harmony to all of her projects.

Marcia Stuff

Marcia oversees everything going on at NorthCoast. She handles every project that comes in and out of our doors. Her responsibilities range from director of finance, to scheduling and project management. Marcia is often the voice of reason for the team, combining her collective experiences to ensure every project meets budget and deadline.
